This place is absolutely amazing. I went as soon as the doors open. Good rib tips, good slab of ribs good greens and I loved the Mac and cheese. The strawberry cake melts in your mouth.

I got the rib tip plate lunch it is amazing, and the people over there are really nice! I finally found a place with food similar to Louisiana :)

The absolute best smoked meats and BBQ in Starkville. The ribs have a deep, smoky flavor. They're tender and succulent. They're wonderfully moist. This is the kind of BBQ you get from along, low, loving smoke, not the sad mush you get at Lil Dooey or the burned, dry jerky at Petty's. The sauce is amazing. It's sweet and smokey with a hint of vinegary tang to compliment the sweetness and a very subtle undertone of spice. The beans are amazing. Sweet and spiced perfectly. And the smoked chicken is in that perfectly smoked place where it's juicy and soft but not overcooked. The pit master knows his trade well.

Best BBQ I’ve ever had. I’m going to talk to the owner about catering my som’s rehearsal dinner for his wedding next June. Absolutely the best Mac and cheese I’ve ever had, and I make it homemade at home. Owner is super nice and good is amazing! Eat here!
